Blacks Bypassed – Asians Accepted

July 6, 2011

This video explains how Vietnamese began their reign in the nail business. Asians are smart. They have loyalty to themselves; even when their opportunities was presented by a non-Asian. Do you think this gesture was unfair to struggling Black citizens?

Devin, I own a cosmetology school in Cincinnati, Ohio and work daily with many Vietnamese students in our nail program. We are successful with them because they meet us more than half way. Their work habits are always in the spirit of cooperation. They want to learn because they associate the license with the notion of work and making money. There is a sense of unity of purpose amongst them that is reflected in the outreaching collaborative spirit with which attach themselves with one another. All of this does not make them unusual when it comes to personal matters. They have disagreements and favorites with the group. But they have never used violence towards each other to resolve any difference. Finally, they give much respect to the position of teacher. Each one every day comes and speaks. “Good morning teacher”. That is our stor y and experience with the Vietnamese community.

On point! Not a sleep at the wheel but in the back seat, some in the trunk and heck many aren’t in the car period.

“WoW” all it takes is RESPECT, SUPPORT, COURAGE, AND MOST OF ALL, LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER. In my opinion, the one sure thing I see the black community lacking, is Support and Love! Many may not understand, but LOVE can conquer many things and I’m not talking physical, but mentally…check out AVE SKINCARE and see if we can help you love the skin you’re in!!!

What about free cosmetology schooling for blacks especialy single mothers. They want them to get off welfare well here’s the ticket. put some of that Free American money in the hands of Americans first. There are many FREE programs for immigrants that come over here so they can be successful, they get free business college siminars, more likely to get a generous easy business loan, and Also Alaskans and Indians.. But the American black person can’t get anything. There are many jobs for OTHERS that WE cant get, working in Orchards, garment factories, Nail salons, wig salons, and restaurants with majority Asians in them. If blacks did this, someone would have filed a lawsuit years ago. You see the gov’t gave the Indians reparations, you don’t see them giving us a CASINO!

I received an e-mail alerting me to this blog. The word black was misspelled and I almost dismissed it as bogus. I clicked so, here I am.

Why must this be the continual rhetoric of the black voice : inciting rage, anger and indifference? The problem is NOT blacks were bypassed and Asians were chosen. The problem is now and what it has been for quite some time is, blacks have no vision, no purpose and no goals and the only time a slight stir occurs is when a prominent black voice speaks something that incites blacks to anger. Blacks re-act and respond to such displays and then like a sugar high after a moment we crash and settle back into the minds of drones

For blacks to start achieving anything in this country, first we must put the black man back in the home. I understand some are not deserving because they themselves had no father around, but many are. Section 8,welfare,low income housing have hurt our community. It’s given her a false since of security to the point where they don’t feel they need a man in the home, because it’ll ruin her benefits. This has been a pattern the past 30yrs. It makes them complacent. We need our families back and as long as we’re separated there will never be hope. Many believe in the big MYTH that black women are the backbone of the black community. A myth white society through out there, and we ran with it. Murder, rape, drugs and all crimes in the black community have tripled the last 30yrs. Until we fix it, no race will respect us as hard working business people. I’ve owned a beauty supply for 4yrs now.

What an inspirational story. Living in California, I’ve often wondered why so many nail salons are run by Vietnamese. It seems that the reason they are successful is because they have built on the success of 19 people and become the industry stalwarts. Regardless of ethnicity or race, success is more about attitude and willingness.
